Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose 3112 D, is a white or yellowish powder of two degrees of grinding, tasteless and odorless, non-toxic. When dissolved in cold water forms a gel-like viscous substance. A valuable property is the ability to act as a stabilizer, emulsifier, thickener. Perfectly retains moisture, if necessary, forms a film, adsorbed with other substances. As a stabilizing active agent, giving the material strength and elasticity, increasing adhesion, used in the manufacture of dry and wet building solutions. Equally well interacts with gypsum, cement, lime, adhesive compositions.

Application:

Due to the ability to dissolve both in water and in solvents containing ethyl alcohol and propanol, GPM forms solutions with different degrees of solidification. This and other properties are successfully implemented in various fields of production:

construction – plaster, adhesive solutions, paint products, fillers;
ceramic-for binding components in the manufacture of ceramics;
printing - as a dispersant, thickener or stabilizer;
leather and paper – for the production of packaging;
chemical and pharmaceutical.
Participates in the production of plastic and PVC products, in the manufacture of cosmetics and detergents.
