Note
Pentaerythritol is an organic compound – chetyrekhtomnym alcohol – 2,2-Dimethylol-1,3-PROPANEDIOL. Pentaerythritol is a white crystalline substance with a molecular weight 136,15. Pentaerythritol has all the properties of polyhydric alcohols, soluble in glycerol, in water, practically insoluble in the usual organic solvents. Pentaerythritol is a multifunctional non-toxic product which does not form toxic compounds with other substances in the air and in wastewater. Pentaerythritol micronized is a fine white powder that, when exposed to temperatures above 250 °C ensures the formation of a dense carbon cover, it has low thermal conductivity, which greatly reduces the thermal impact on the protected material or design.
