Application
• as an inert solvent capable of dissolving many organic substances. As such, it finds application in the processes of dry-cleaning services (dry cleaning);
• for degreasing metal and other surfaces in mechanical engineering and instrument making;
• in the processing of photopolymer printed boards — in the manufacture of needles for disposable syringes;
• included in the compositions for flushing paints;
• as an intermediate in the production of azoospermic CFC;
• as intermediate in obtaining trichloroacetic acid;
