Linear Alkylbenzene Sulfonic Acid (LABSA) is a highly effective anionic surfactant and a core ingredient used in the production of the vast majority of modern detergents. The product is a viscous liquid ranging from brown to dark brown in color with a characteristic odor. Due to its excellent foaming, emulsifying, and detergency properties, LABSA is indispensable in the manufacture of household cleaning products, industrial cleaning agents, and various other industrial applications.
Applications
Household Chemicals Production: Used as the primary active ingredient in liquid and powder detergents, dishwashing liquids, laundry gels, and cleaning pastes. It provides rich foam and high washing performance even in hard water.
Industrial Cleaning: Applied in the formulations of concentrated cleaners for car washes (car shampoos), industrial equipment cleaning, degreasing of metal surfaces, and removing stubborn oil and grease stains.
Textile and Leather Industry: Utilized as a wetting agent and washing auxiliary during the processing of fibers, fabrics, and leather prior to dyeing or further treatment.
Agrochemicals and Construction: Used as an emulsifier in the production of pesticides and herbicides, as well as an air-entraining and plasticizing additive in concrete mixes to improve workability.

Storage & Transportation
- Store in dry, covered, and well-ventilated warehouses in tightly closed original packaging, away from heat sources and open flames.
- Recommended storage temperature: from +15°C to +40°C. At lower temperatures, the product may thicken (solidify), requiring warming before use (without direct contact with fire).
- Avoid direct sunlight and moisture exposure, as the product is highly hygroscopic.
- Transportation is permitted by all types of covered transport in compliance with freight regulations. In its pure form, the material is corrosive to metals (requires corrosion-resistant containers). Shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
