Alkyl Amidopropyl Betaine is a highly effective, mild amphoteric surfactant derived from coconut oil fatty acids. The product is a clear to light yellowish liquid that is excellently soluble in water. It possesses outstanding foaming, thickening, and conditioning properties. Due to its ability to reduce the irritating effects of anionic surfactants and its stability across a wide pH range, AMPB is an indispensable component in the formulation of household chemistry, personal care products, and industrial cleaning solutions.
Applications
Household Chemistry & Cleaning: Used as a co-surfactant in formulations for liquid soaps, dishwashing detergents, laundry gels, and surface cleaners. It increases system viscosity and stabilizes foam.
Cosmetics & Personal Care: A base component for mild shampoos (including baby shampoos), shower gels, and bubble baths. It mitigates the dermatological harshness of primary surfactants like SLES.
Auto Care & Industrial Cleaners: Incorporated into touchless car wash shampoos, active foams, and heavy-duty alkaline detergents used for cleaning industrial equipment.
Textile & Leather Industry: Applied as an efficient wetting agent, antistatic agent, and leveling agent during the dyeing and processing of fibers.

Storage & Transportation
- Store in dry, covered, and well-ventilated warehouses in tightly sealed original packaging, away from heat sources.
- Recommended storage temperature range: +5°C to +35°C. Do not allow the product to freeze.
- Avoid exposure to direct sunlight and prolonged contact with open air.
- Transportation is permitted by all types of covered transport while maintaining the required temperature regime. The material is classified as non-hazardous for transport. Shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
