Benzophenone-4 (Sulisobenzone) is a highly effective, water-soluble UV filter (covering both UV-A and UV-B spectrums) that serves as a key stabilizing agent for protecting the color, clarity, and overall shelf-life of liquid detergents and cosmetic formulations. The product comes in the form of a white or light-yellow crystalline powder that is highly soluble in water and alcohols. Applications
Liquid Detergents and Household Cleaners: Used in the formulation of transparent dishwashing liquids, liquid hand soaps, fabric softeners, and window/surface cleaning sprays. It prevents dyes from fading, ensuring that products maintain an appealing appearance on retail shelves when packaged in clear plastic bottles.
Car Care and Auto Cosmetics: Incorporated into auto shampoos, active foams, and car polishes. It prevents the photochemical breakdown of active chemical components during storage and transport.
Cosmetics and Personal Care: Applied as a UV stabilizer in shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps, and bubble baths, as well as in hair care products and sunscreens to protect both the skin and hair structure from UV damage.
Perfumery: Added to eaux de toilette, perfumes, and colognes to prevent fragrance shifting (due to oxidation of fragrance oils) and discoloration when exposed to natural or ambient UV light.

Storage & Transportation
- Store in dry, cool, and well-ventilated warehouses in tightly sealed original packaging, away from heat sources, moisture, and direct sunlight.
- Optimal storage temperature: +5°C to +30°C. The product is hygroscopic; ensure the packaging remains undamaged to prevent clumping.
- Transport is permitted via all types of covered transport vehicles, provided temperature controls are maintained. The material is not classified as a dangerous good for transport.
- Guaranteed shelf life — 2 years from the date of manufacture.
