Formalin 37% (aqueous methanol solution of formaldehyde) is a highly effective antiseptic, disinfectant, and preserving agent. It possesses powerful antimicrobial activity against all types of bacteria, viruses, fungi, and spores. In the industrial cleaning and sanitation sector, it is used as a potent biocidal component, formulation stabilizer, and agent for deep disinfection and sterilization of processing equipment.

Applications

Industrial Sanitation & Disinfection: Used for sterilization and decontamination of equipment, pipework, tanks, and work surfaces in the food, pharmaceutical, and livestock industries.

Cleaning Chemistry & Autochemicals Production: Acts as a preservative in industrial detergents and car shampoos, preventing bio-contamination, souring, and degradation of surfactants during long-term storage.

Poultry & Livestock Farming: Applied for the disinfection of premises (incubators, barns), filling disinfection barriers and mats, as well as for antiseptic hoof treatment.

Anatomical & Medical Preparations: Used for biological tissue fixation, preservation of biological materials, and as an antiseptic in specialized medical solutions.

Storage & Transportation

Store in tightly sealed original manufacturer packaging in covered, ventilated warehouse premises, protected from atmospheric precipitation and direct sunlight.
Attention: Optimal storage temperature range is between +10°C and +25°C. Dropping the temperature below +9°C may cause a white precipitate (paraformaldehyde) to form.
Formalin is classified as a hazardous good (Class 3 and 8 hazard, depending on methanol concentration). Transportation must strictly comply with dangerous goods regulations (ADR).
Guaranteed Shelf Life: 6 months from the date of manufacture.
