Vaseline (highly refined heavy hydrocarbon mixture) is a homogenous, ointment-like mass without odor, serving as a key component for softening, hydrophobization, and creating a reliable protective barrier. The product is chemically inert, resistant to rancidity, and perfectly compatible with most fat, oil, and wax components. Due to its unique isolating properties, Vaseline is indispensable in the production of cosmetic detergents (cream soaps, industrial hand-cleansing protective pastes), household chemicals, polishes, as well as a technological lubricant in both light and heavy industries.
Applications
Detergents & Cosmetics Production: Utilized as a softening and superfatted component in solid and liquid soaps (cream soaps), protective creams, and heavy-duty industrial hand-cleaning pastes designed to remove stubborn grime. It effectively prevents skin from drying out caused by surfactants (surfactants).
Household Chemicals & Auto Care: Formulated into furniture polishes, shoe creams, protective mastics, and leather care products. It provides an excellent water-repellent effect and restores surface gloss.
Industrial Manufacturing & Lubricants: Applied as an anti-adhesive agent, a plasticizer for rubbers, and a mild anti-corrosion lubricant for protecting metal parts, terminals, and mechanisms during long-term preservation and storage.
Textile & Woodworking Industries: Used for impregnating fabrics and paper to impart hydrophobic (waterproof) properties, as well as an ingredient in lubricating emulsions for fibers.

Storage & Transportation
- Store in dry, cool, and well-ventilated warehouses in tightly sealed original packaging, far away from heat sources and open flames.
- Recommended storage temperature range: 0°C to +30°C. Protect from direct sunlight.
- Transportation is permitted by all types of covered transport in strict compliance with cargo carriage regulations. The product is not classified as hazardous cargo (UN Class 9 is not applicable).
- Shelf Life: 2–5 years from the date of manufacture (depending on the packaging type and storage conditions).
