Sodium Hypochlorite 17% is a highly efficient liquid oxidizing agent and powerful disinfectant extensively used in the textile and light industries. The product is a clear, pale yellow or greenish-yellow liquid with a characteristic sharp, pungent odor of chlorine. Due to its potent oxidative properties, it is indispensable for the industrial bleaching of natural and blended fibers, fabric finishing, and the disinfection of technological processing systems.
Applications
Industrial Bleaching: Used as a primary agent for bleaching cotton, flax, hemp fabrics, gray goods, and knitwear prior to dyeing. It ensures a high degree of fiber whiteness without damaging the fiber structure when the correct technological parameters are maintained.
Textile Design and Fabric Finishing: Applied in the processing and artificial aging of denim garments ("stone wash" and "bleach wash" effects). It provides controlled, uniform decoloring of Indigo dyes on finished garments.
Wastewater Treatment and Disinfection: Integrated into textile plant water treatment cycles to neutralize toxic dyes and sulfur-containing compounds in effluents. It is also used to clear bio-films and algae from industrial cooling and recycling water loops.
Equipment Sanitization: Utilized for the sanitary treatment of tanks, pipelines, and dyeing machinery to prevent microbiological contamination of subsequent textile raw material batches.

Storage & Transportation
- Store in dry, cool, well-ventilated warehouse areas equipped with corrosion-resistant floors. Storage in metal containers without a protective internal lining is strictly prohibited.
- Optimal storage temperature range: -10℃ to +20℃. Protect from direct sunlight and heat exposure, as thermal energy accelerates product decomposition.
- Joint storage with acids, organic combustible materials, and ammonium salts is categorically prohibited (risk of hazardous gaseous chlorine release).
- Transportation must be carried out by specialized transport vehicles in accordance with dangerous goods regulations (classified under Hazard Class 8: corrosive substances).
- Guaranteed Shelf Life: 6 months from the date of manufacture (due to the natural decline in active chlorine concentration over time).
