Orthophosphoric Acid

Orthophosphoric acid (phosphoric acid) is a medium-strength inorganic acid. In its pure form, it consists of colorless, hygroscopic crystals, while in aqueous solution, it appears as a syrupy, transparent, odorless liquid. It is a vital product of the chemical industry, used in sectors ranging from mineral fertilizer production to the food industry. Applications

Agriculture: Production of complex phosphorus and mixed fertilizers, as well as feed additives for livestock.

Metallurgy & Automotive: Cleaning metal surfaces from rust (etching) and creating protective anti-corrosion coatings (phosphating).

Food Industry: Registered as food additive E338. Used as an acidity regulator in beverages (such as cola) and confectionery products.

Textile & Glass Industry: Used for flame-retardant impregnation of fabrics, and in the production of special glass grades and ceramics.
