Amine Oxide

Amine Oxide (alkyldimethylamine oxide) is a highly efficient amphoteric (non-ionic in neutral and alkaline solutions) surfactant, serving as a key raw material for the production of cosmetics, household detergents, disinfectants, and industrial formulations. The product is a clear to light yellowish liquid that is highly soluble in water. Due to its unique ability to provide excellent foaming properties, outstanding foam stability in both acidic and alkaline environments, and a strong synergistic effect with other surfactants, amine oxide is an indispensable component in formulating mild yet highly effective cleaning and washing agents.

Applications

Cosmetics and Personal Care: Used as a co-surfactant, foam booster, and conditioning agent in shampoos, shower gels, liquid soaps, and bubble baths. It significantly reduces the dermal irritation profile of anionic surfactants.

Household Detergents and Car Shampoos: Acts as a baseline component in liquid dishwashing detergents, hard surface cleaners, and touchless car wash formulas where dense, stable, and heavy foam is required.

Disinfectants and Bleaching Agents: Due to its exceptional stability in the presence of sodium hypochlorite (NaClO) and hydrogen peroxide, it is widely utilized in the production of chlorine-based sanitary cleaning gels and industrial disinfectants.

Textile and Oilfield Chemistry: Applied as an antistatic agent, leveling agent in textile dyeing, and as a foaming agent for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) processes.

Storage & Transportation

Store in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated warehouse, protected from direct sunlight, in tightly sealed original packaging.
Recommended storage temperature: +5°C to +30°C. Avoid freezing the product, as it may cause separation (if frozen, gentle warming and thorough homogenization are required before use).
Keep away from strong acids and reducing agents.
Transportation is permitted by all types of covered transport while maintaining the required temperature profile. The material is classified as non-hazardous for standard transport (Class 9 hazard UN 3082 applies strictly to high-concentration export shipments). Shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
