Applications
Food Industry (E1520): Used as a humectant, moisture-retaining agent, softener, and preservative. Applied in the production of bakery and confectionery goods to maintain softness, and as a direct-contact secondary coolant in the freezing of berries, meat, and poultry.
Flavors and Extracts Production: Acts as a primary, universal carrier-solvent for food colorings, essences, liquid flavorings, and spices, ensuring their stability and uniform distribution throughout the final product.
Cosmetics and Personal Care: Incorporated into formulations for creams, lotions, shampoos, toothpastes, and lipsticks as a moisturizer (humectant) and emollient. It helps bind water and oil phases, improving the overall product texture.
Pharmaceuticals and Tobacco Industry: Used as a solvent for hydrophobic therapeutic drugs (syrups, injections, ointments). In the production of vape liquids and tobacco products, it serves as a base to retain moisture and deliver aroma.

- Protect from direct sunlight. Store separately from strong oxidizing agents and acids.
- Transportation is permitted by all types of covered transport. The material is not classified as a dangerous good (ADR regulations do not apply). Shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
